Caring For America - Community Outreach

Through the kindness and generosity of our membership, we have been providing snacks and drinks to Safe Harbor. They have moved to a new and better facility at 1819 Oddfellow in Conroe and will be able to provide more services. Enclosed within this newsletter is a wish list provided by Safe Harbor and we would appreciate that each member bring at least one item to the meeting on December 2nd to give these children a happier Christmas.

We have provided turkeys for the Meals On Wheels program for Thanksgiving. The Food Bank provides a backpack filled with food to children (designated by local schools) to have over weekends and holidays. We provided one backpack and hope to do one each month.

We have other plans that we will be doing for the soldiers and needy which we will report on in the next newsletter.
